Check the charger and the walking route independently of the restaurant.

Verify the charger first
Use the charging network’s own app or website to confirm connector type, access, operating status, fees and any parking rules. A restaurant near a charging site does not establish that a suitable charger is working or available.
Check the walk
Look for a safe pedestrian route, crossings and access restrictions. A restaurant across a divided road can be impractical despite a short map distance. Check dining-room hours if you want to wait inside during the charge.
Plan around the charging session
Confirm idle fees and any time limits with the charging provider. Choose food with enough flexibility for a shorter or longer charge, and save an alternative restaurant or charger before travelling.
