Secret menus, customizations and off-menu claims

A popular customization is not necessarily an official menu item.

Separate official options from internet names

An official customization can have a published ordering path, while an online nickname may describe an unofficial combination. Staff may not recognize the nickname. Ask for the specific ingredients or modifications and accept that some cannot be provided.

Recheck price and nutrition

An extra patty, sauce, topping or larger size can change both the price and the nutrition. Do not reuse the default item’s numbers for a modified order unless the restaurant publishes the exact configuration.

Availability is local

Ingredients, equipment, ordering systems and restaurant policies can limit what is possible. CompareMenus does not describe an unsupported “secret menu” combination as a guaranteed product or publish an invented price for it.

Restaurant information can change. Follow the original source and confirm details for your chosen location and order.
