Vegetarian and vegan restaurant choices
Names, ingredients, certifications and preparation methods answer different questions.

Look for an explicit statement
A dish described as vegetable, meatless or plant-based does not automatically establish that every ingredient is vegan. Dairy, egg, honey, stocks, dressings and toppings may matter to your preference. Prefer a current restaurant statement or a clearly identified certification.
Ask about the preparation
Shared cooking equipment may be relevant to your personal preference. For an allergy, shared preparation is a separate safety issue and needs a direct discussion with staff. Vegan and vegetarian labels are not allergy-safety claims.
Check the whole order
Sides, sauces, add-ons and a chosen milk can change the order. Ask whether a modification is available at that location and whether removing an ingredient affects a promotion or meal price.
Using the directory
Explore the chain’s official menu link, then confirm the exact restaurant. We preserve explicit source labels where available and leave uncertain items unclassified. A list based only on names would create false confidence.
