Translate points into a real purchase
Read the current earning rules, eligible channels and redemption options. Calculate value using the items you actually want, not the most expensive theoretical reward. Taxes, gift cards, delivery orders and promotional purchases may have different treatment.
Check the conditions
Look for expiry, minimum spend, redemption limits, participating locations and whether rewards can be combined with other offers. An advertised welcome offer may apply only to a new account or a particular ordering channel.
Avoid buying only to unlock a reward
A promotion that requires an extra purchase can cost more than the benefit is worth. Compare the final basket with the purchase you would make without the offer. Keep account terms, privacy choices and renewal charges in view when deciding whether to join.
