Inspector’s narrative
Field visit this morning to check progress on the fly problem. Last night 9/19 their pest control company did a treatment on baseboards, walls, and problem areas and knocked down the number of flies considerably. There are still a few hovering over the production line near the ceiling, and in the dead zone at the end of that line. Direct a fan toward that end of the line to disrupt the air, and keep all food items covered during the day to keep the food protected. Recommend a reinspection in 2 to 3 weeks to monitor progress. Also a deep clean was done all along the production line and smoothie line. Establishment may reopen and operate.
